The Heysel is an important fixture of
the Brussels metropolitan area. This
space is being redesigned into a
modern meeting place for Europe. The
rejuvenated architectural development
will be both a heavyweight urban entity
and a functional complex. A congress
centre, shopping complex, leisure
facilities and office space all in one,
it’s an important social, cultural and
economic hub for the whole of Belgium
and well beyond the country’s borders.

EVOLUTION
A balance of new and old
world, Brussels is divided into
Upper Town and the historic
and medieval, Lower Town.
