introduction
The North Carolina Gang Investigators Association (NCGIA) and the Partnership for a Gang Free NC (GFNC) understands the devastating impact that gangs and gang related activities have on our communities in North Carolina. The NCGIA and GFNC works with schools, community organizations and other law enforcement agencies throughout NC in combating gangs.
The NCGIA and GFNC has enhanced inter-agency information sharing and the exchange of criminal intelligence, legislative activism, citi- zen and community awareness, innovative anti- gang strategies and operational tactics, and by providing professional education and training, we play a significant role in creating a safer environment for residents of and visitors of North Carolina to this state.
