Sue Corcoran has been a mainstay
of the Kiawah Conservancy for
almost a decade. She has served as
its chairman, headed a year long
initiative on strategic planning, and—
happily for all concerned—is about to
begin her third term on the Board of
Trustees.
Jack Kotz features
prominently in every
issue. This former
chemistry professor who
also authors a chemistry
textbook is a talented
writer and photographer.
His classroom technique
makes him a favorite host
of the Conservancy’s annual
symposiums.
Jane Ellis chairs
the Conservancy’s
Environmental Science
Committee and loves
all things plant related.
She has a Ph.D. in
plant physiology and
recently retired from the
College of Charleston’s
Biology Department
but still teaches medical
botany for Clemson
University. She loves to
travel and has started a
new adventure – cruise
lecturing.
