It was also fun to talk with these people over
dinner and learn more about them and about
Kiawah Island. I think the most impressive aspect
of Kiawah is the community’s commitment to
conservation. It is rare to find a place that allocates
so many resources, and involves so many residents
in protecting their natural habitats.” Matt adds,
“The area where we worked was beautiful and
not many people really get to say they see wild
dolphins from their ‘office’.”
Every single bander emphasized that the
best and most important part of the job was the
opportunity to work with Aaron Given, who
brought to the endeavor a wealth of knowledge
