Winter Sunsets
Life on Kiawah slows a bit during the winter.
The humidity of the summer declines and
the skies clear. The sun sets earlier and right
along the beach, until it dips below the horizon
over Captain Sam’s Spit. The combination of
conditions in the winter leads to particularly
brilliant sunsets.
