rowing up in the rural Yorkshire Dales, UK, I was raised to appreciate
simple moments in life.
The daily variables associated with raising sheep on an 80-acre family farm
were plentiful, if not unrelenting.
The occasions when all of the elements would align “just so” were
exceedingly rare. It was in these fleeting moments that I experienced my
favorite childhood memories.
Natural Retreats is my steadfast pursuit of a special goal: creating unique
vacation destinations where time can stand still. Where interacting with nature
captures our entire imagination. Where loved ones can leave their day-to-day
lives behind and create memories that will last a lifetime.
