My gymnastics were limited to my front yard
where I would walk on my hands and do
front hand springs and pretend I was in the
Olympics. Discovering Tri-Fitness in 2004
has provided this 47 year old a chance to
perform a 2 minute floor routine (thus, this is
my Olympics)!
“We will have athletes from 6 years old to
66 years old competing and challenging
themselves this year at our 18th Tri-Fitness
World Challenge. The routines will range
from beginners to high skilled levels but the
most important aspect is each athlete will
have a chance to show their creativity and
skills while having FUN!,” says Al Rosen.
Tri-Fitness routine winners over the years
have come from various backgrounds. The
first winner in 1998 was Kelly Gignilliat
Hardersen who was a national aerobics
champion and danced for Disney. Jennifer
Rosen was a high level gymnast and while
Gina Oakes and Marissa Herring were college
cheerleaders. Katie Uter and Sandra Augustin
both had dance backgrounds.
“I want to be like my aunties Jennifer and
Lindsey and do a routine like them” says
6 year old Kaylin Ramsey whose mother
Stephanie was a level 10 gymnast. As of
now, there are 10 women over 40 years old
registered to do fitness routines this year!
To all the moms who are sitting behind a
window or the stands observing their 5 year
olds doing dance, cheerleading, gymnastics
practices and competitions, YOU have the
opportunity for your child to watch YOU! Be
creative, challenge yourself and most of
all, HAVE FUN! This is a chance for you to
SHINE – Tri-Fitness 4 LIFE!
