Become an Outstanding Example of What
a Person Can Accomplish WITHOUT DRUGS!
As the saying goes, “People pay more attention to what you DO than what you SAY!”
L
et’s face it, using physique-enhancing drugs to improve your
body is illegal. Bodybuilding drugs are forbidden not only by
competitive drug-free bodybuilding organizations, but are
also deemed illegal by local and federal government. The bottom line
is this: If we bodybuilders want to be more respected by the general
public, illegal drugs must be removed from our endeavors. Period!
If you are a noncompetitive bodybuilder, I don’t believe you
should even entertain the idea of using illegal drugs to get the quality
physique you desire. The gains you will make with the drugs will only
be with you as long as you use them, you probably won’t want to spend
all of that money on them forever, you will have to worry about your
health, and you will have to worry about the law catching up with you.
All these risks for what exactly? Just to be the biggest, most
muscular guy around? Believe me, there will always be someone
bigger—not matter how big you get. Instead, you should focus your
attention on learning what it takes to build your body without them.
If you are a competitive bodybuilder, you should have already come
to the realization that this sport is for the genetically elite. If you do not
have an awesome structure to begin with, it doesn’t matter which ones
or how much drugs you take. You will only achieve so much success.
Whether success to you is winning your local show or winning a
national competition, you need to ask yourself if it is really worth it.
If really have what it takes to become a professional competitive
bodybuilder or even a great regional one, you should be able to do
extremely well as a drug-free bodybuilder first. And yes, even in
non-tested bodybuilding contests.
Even then, I would never recommend anyone taking illegal physique-enhancing drugs—especially when someone has not even
taken the time to learn what they are doing in the gym and at the
dinner table first. And, trust me, you really won’t know how to train
and eat in manner that will maximize your genetic potential until at
least five years of totally committed bodybuilding.
Now, let’s talk about what happens in the real world. It is inevitable
that some people, by human nature, will not always obey the law or
worry about what is best for their health. If there is an easier and faster
way to get the job done, some people will take that route—regardless
of its legality or health risks.
Contrary to what many self-righteous, “holier than thou” natural,
drug-free bodybuilders like to tell themselves, drugs in bodybuilding
taint the sport for all bodybuilders. Unfortunately, when you, as a
natural bodybuilder, develop a certain amount of size, muscularity,

or degree of leanness, the first
assumption made by other natural
bodybuilders and the general public
is that you are using illegal drugs to
achieve a physique of that quality.
Too many people training in the
gyms today never discover what
they are truly capable of achieving
naturally. They immediately start
using drugs at the very beginning of
their journeys because they firmly
believe it is impossible to build a truly
admirable physique without them.
What will it take to bring respectability to bodybuilding and to its

participants? Where is the solution that will help us overcome the
terrible drug stereotype that the general public has against us—and
that we even have amongst ourselves? What evidence will bodybuilders around the world need to believe that they can develop a good
physique without drugs?
In my opinion, finding the solution to these challenges will need
to happen in three stages: 1.) The proliferation and exposure of
outstanding natural, drug-free bodybuilders; 2.) A certain amount of
“lag time” for the process and acceptance of that process to evolve
must pass; and 3.) Then, the new, higher standard that has been
established must be accepted as truly being drug free.
My passion for over 20 years has been to spread the information,
inspiration, and the "secrets" from my personal discoveries (and what
I’ve gathered from the very best natural bodybuilders in the world) in
the areas of training, nutrition, motivation, and sports supplementation.

My efforts have been my sincere attempt to improve bodybuilding
and help increase the number of outstanding drug-free bodybuilders
around the globe—both competitive and noncompetitive.
As I see it, drug-free bodybuilders should be living, walking, and
breathing examples that training naturally is the very best way to train.
