“safe” place to go where I could not think about the pain and struggles she was going through – sadly,
after 3 years of battling cancer she lost her battle and passed away. That “safe” place of weight training
turned into a passion but really remained a recreation for almost 10 years. Growing up I was always the
small skinny kid and I would admire those individuals in bodybuilding competitions, never thinking I would

amazing feeling to know that I was now shoulder to shoulder with all the athletes that I admired growing
up; I was now one of them! 2017 has new goals for me as I plan on competing again with hopes of qualifying for a National competition. With the right attitude and the amazing support I have, there are no limits!
