’ m sure we all know someone who unbeknownst to them , ���� � ���������� ���������� in our lives . It could be something they said or taught us . Many of us have quite a few people who ’ ve changed our lives in some way .
I can think of Tom Palermo . He was the publisher of a magazine , Florida Muscle News . When we started publishing Natural Muscle , Tom agreed to meet with me and give me some tips , regardless of that fact that we potentially would be competition for them .
� ���� ��� ����� ���� ��� ����� to start publishing a magazine . He changed my life . I wonder if he knows .
��������� � ������ �� �������� ���������� �� �� ���� ����� ��� �������� ����� ���� � ��� ����� ���������� who had also missed their connections . A lady in front of me in line to get our hotel vouchers said it perfectly . “ We have been reduced to being like Fed ex packages on a conveyer belt ... we fall off and are thrown back on .” A group of us laughed , but isn ’ t that the truth . We all shared a taxi to the “ voucher ” hotel and had our own little party . As others checked into the hotel complaining of the same inconvenience happenening to them , we invited them to join us . We all met for breakfast the next morning and shared a shuttle back to
“ People , people who need people , Are the luckiest people in the world .” Barbara Streisand the airport . Those people all made my delay enjoyable ! There are many things out of our control , but the one thing that is in our control is how we effect other people ’ s lives . When you think about it , if the airline had given us each two hundred dollars , but we had to spend that evening brooding about the inconvenience instead of with eachother , we would have all been pretty bummed ... a little richer , but bummed nonetheless . We may sometimes feel like we are treated like a Fed ex package , but as long as we have people , life is good .
As we get ready to begin 2017 , the best resolution anyone can make is to aspire to be a person that changes others ’ lives ( for the good , of course : -). Whether it be helping them get into shape , helping them move , or just being there for them — not only when things are rolling — but also when they are not .
Wishing you a happy holiday season . And , please keep in mind that not everyone has somewhere to go on the holidays , especially if you live in Florida . Take a ���� ������ ���� ����� ��� ���� ���� �������� ��� somewhere to go . If they don ’ t , invite them to spend the day with you . That is great place to start in changing someone ’ s life !
