Base212 Mette Hagedorn tarafından kurulan ve Danimarka’da iç
mekan ürünleri üretip toptan olarak pazarlayan bir şirket. Hagedorn
firması için genç yeteneklerden yararlandığı gibi kendisi de tasarım
yapıyor. Modern dokunuşlu retrospektif tasarımlara odaklanan
Base212 malzemeleri yeni ve farklı şekillerde bir araya getirmesiyle
de tanınıyor. Hagedorn, yeni ve eski, doğal ve doğal olmayan
arasındaki zıtlığı vurgulayan bu malzeme birlikteliğine önem veriyor.
Tasarımlarının malzeme kombinasyonu ve yalınlığı ile dikkat çeken
Danimarkalı mimar Rikke Frost, Base212’nin kanatları altında, zarif
bakır tabanı, mermerden tepsisini taşıyan tasarımını geliştirdi.
Base212 is a Danish wholesale company and producer of interior
design owned by Mette Hagedorn, who picks young designers for
the company as well as being a designer herself. Base212 focuses
on retrospective design with a modern twist and an attempt to mix
materials in new and different ways. Especially this mix is important for
Mette Hagedorn, since it creates bold contrasts – both between new
and old, and natural and unnatural. Under the wings of Base212 is
the Danish architect Rikke Frost, whose design can be recognized by
its simplicity and mix of materials, which is seen in her tray table, that
mixes a fragile copper base with a robust round tray in marble, uniting
both the marble and the copper trend.
