garden. In the middle of the plot is the multi-level house consisting of the ground floor that includes the living space, kitchen, master bedroom and bathrooms; three bedrooms are placed on the first floor and the garage and the technical spaces are placed on the basement floor. To be able to preserve the Iberian plant life found on the plot the architects decided to limit changes to the site as much as possible. Marble and Bamboo is perceived as if it is situated on a small valley due to the placement of its garage in the basement floor of the building on the existing slope of the site seemingly straddling this gap and providing a basis for the vertical thrust of the building upwards. A host of minor and major curved surfaces designed with different angles and heights create a crescendo of climbing forms on the entrance side of the building while a transparent glass façade is designed for the back façade oriented towards the pool in order to able to access the garden view. All the living spaces receive natural daylight whereas the dramatic changes on its exterior are not experienced in the design of the floor plans.
