2000 yılında World Architecture Review tarafından
yayınlanan monografileri sayesinde gerçekleşti. RTAOffice, İspanyol mimarlığını Çin’de temsil etmeleri için
diğer 7 mimarlık ofisi ile birlikte İspanyol Hükümeti
tarafından 2006 yılında görevlendirildi. Bu sayede
ofisin projeleri Shenzhen ve Tianjin gibi kentlerde
sergilendi. Santiago Parramón uluslararası düzeyde yer
edinmesiyle müşteri ve projelerine yakın durmak için
Çin’de yaşamaya başladı. Tianjin, Suzhou, Shenzhen
ve Hainan Adası gibi Çin’in gelişme gösteren kentleri
için projeler tasarlayıp uyguladı. 1997- 2000 yılları
arasında İstanbul’da Murat Yılmaz tarafından kurulan
DOME Partners-İstanbul (Doğal Mekan Mimarlık) ise,
2009 yılından bu yana uluslararası düzeyde yürüttüğü
tasarım ortaklıkları ile iletişim olanaklarını geliştirmeyi
hedefliyor. 2012’de Truva Müzesi proje önerisi için
yürüttükleri tasarım ortaklığı ile gündeme gelen DOME
Partners-İstanbul ve RTA-Office, Avaza için tasarlanan
Kongre Salonu ve Toplantı Merkezi projesinde de
birlikte çalıştı.

in Barcelona, Spain in 1991 and has branches today in Shanghai and
Istanbul. Principal architect Santiago Parramón has for many years worked
in the field of computational design and architecture, dating back to the
office’s use of Silicon Graphics computers in Spain in the early 1990s.
Later in the 2000s, RTA – Office’s international exposure started when it
was selected with seven other architectural companies by the Spanish
government to represent Spanish architecture in China. RTA-Office’s works
were exhibited in Chinese cities such as Shenzhen and Tianjin, creating
business opportunities for the practice that culminated with the opening of
the China office in Shanghai and Santiago Parramón’s personally moving to
China in the late 2000s.
For the Congress Hall and Convention Center in Awaza, RTA – Office teamed
up with DOME Partners of Istanbul led by Murat Yılmaz after initially
collaborating together on a competition entry for the Troy Museum in
Çanakkale, Turkey in 2012.
The site of the Congress Hall and Convention Center is the “Awaza National
Touristic Region” in the city of Turkmenbaşy previously known as ‘Kyzyl Su
(Red Water)’ and Krasnovodsk in Russian, located on the Caspian shoreline
of the western province of Balkan. Turkmenbaşy with its harbor and starting
point of the Trans-Caspian Railway (Central Asian Railway) has historically
been a focal point of rail and sea transportation where the country opens
