Hello Sisters,
Welcome to #KDChiCon19 where we will be honoring the past, treasuring the present, and shaping the future of our amazing sisterhood. I am SUPER excited to have you all here in San Antonio, TX in my home state! We have been planning this event for over a year and conference is finally here!
In helping plan this conference I really had the theme: #KDChiForver in mind. With the current state of the world I feel that it is important to look at our past, present, and future as a sisterhood. We need to be able to honor our past and really connect with our roots as an organization to be able to grow as a sisterhood. We need to treasure the present and realize that everything we have now will not always be here or stay the same. Last, but not least, we need to start shaping the future of Kappa Delta Chi and look to the younger generations to really understand where we will be in 5, 10, and even 20 years from now.
I hope that you all enjoy the personal and professional programming, amazing speakers, sisterhood bonding, time outside of the hotel connecting with sisters who you might not know, and most importantly this celebration of service and sisterhood. The conference team has worked very hard to make this an amazing conference and make this time a chance for you to learn and grow. Please thank all the conference team for their hard work when you get a chance. They all did a fantastic job this year and I will be be forever grateful.
Cheers to the past 32 years and to many, many more to come! I know that Kappa Delta Chi has given me the opportunity ro become a better version of myself and I hope that it has given you the same opportunity. I love all of y'all even if I don't know you. <3
