Hello Sisters,
Welcome to #KDChiCon17 and our celebration of 30 years of service and sisterhood! We are so excited to have you all here in Orlando, FL. We have been planning this event for over a year, of course, it is our 30th anniversary! We wanted this year to be something very special…even magical…which is why we are in the land of Disney where dreams come true.
I am so thankful to have ALL Four of our Founders with us this weekend in Orlando. Having them, previous National Presidents, and our national leaders is a great opportunity for you all to network with them. You can find out some pretty cool “fun facts” about our sisterhood, how this organization motivated these women and gave them a foundation to be successful after college graduation, and find out the awesome contributions they are all making in their local communities today as alumnae. Our Marketing Director, Anna, has created some fantastic name badges so that you can identify sisters easily and network with superheroes all weekend.
I hope that you all enjoy the sensational speakers, personal and professional programming, sisterhood bonding, time outside of the hotel enjoying this magical destination, and most importantly this celebration of service and sisterhood. The conference team has worked very hard to make this an enchanted event for you to enjoy. Please thank them for their hard work when you get a chance. They all did a fantastic job this year!
Cheers to the past 30 years and to many, many more to come! I know that Kappa Delta Chi has made many of my dreams come true. I hope it has for you too, and I hope it continues to do so for many more women for eternity.
