T he 2018 NATDA Trade Show & Convention brought over
500 dealerships to Indianapolis, Indiana. This year’s New
Product Display sponsored by TRAIL-A-WAY had more attention
than any other NATDA show. Its thirty participants, ranging
from bungee systems to tire pressure monitoring systems, did
not disappoint, either. Another first-time exhibitor, Eagle Hydraulic, took second place
for its Super Capacitor, a battery capable of handling up to
three full dumps at full charge. Filling out the award winners
was Gen-Y Hitch’s Channel Mount Torsion Hitch, which marks
the company’s third consecutive year that it has finished the
NATDA Trade Show & Convention with an award.
While experienced and lauded companies were in the running
for the NATDA’s awards for best new products of the year, it
was first-time exhibitor Link Lock that took home the first-place
prize. Link Lock is a patent-pending trailer chain attachment
system that allows trailer owners to adjust their safety chains to
fit any vehicle. Thank you to everyone who participated in voting!
