CURT GROUP ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW
WEBSITES
CURT Group, a leading sales, marketing, engineering and
distribution company of towing products and truck accessories,
has launched all-new websites for three of its brands. Curtmfg.
com, ariesautomotive.com and luvernetruck.com have been
reinvented with a new mobile-responsive platform, simplified
navigation and enhanced vehicle lookup.
These three websites went live on April 3, 2018; each one
featuring a bold, uncluttered design, improved functionality and
simplified taxonomy for a truly user-friendly experience. At the
top of the homepage, you will find an updated category menu,
colorful carousel and powerful vehicle lookup. There are also
links to other brands within CURT Group, providing easy access
to see all products. Further down are featured items and the
latest news and events. They’ve also added an extensive lifestyle
section, giving visitors a chance to explore our products through
their own preferred hobbies and interests.
One of the key goals of these new websites was to create an
SEO-optimized, unified platform that provides a user-friendly
navigational experience. They started by thinking from the user’s
perspective, then worked their way backward. This led to the
development of a more universally recognized hierarchy. Their
new product categories are more recognizable by everyone,
from shop owners and installers to consumers. The bold
dropdown menu provides a simple, straightforward path to our
products, making it much easier for visitors to find the products
they’re looking for.
Each category page has also been streamlined to be more
product-focused with a new filtering system within each
category. This update gives users command of the page, allowing
them to sort by size, weight, finish and more.

The next key area of focus was the vehicle lookup tool. In recent
months, CURT Group has been taking great strides toward
more comprehensive ACES / PIES data – the data recognized
universally in the automotive industry. This refined data has
been implemented with our new sites, along with a simplified,
but more prominent, lookup menu. It is now easier than ever
for visitors to look up their vehicle by year, make and model and
quickly find the parts that fit their vehicle.
The launch of these three new websites is phase 1 in an exciting
renovation of the CURT Group online presence. They are
eager for the opportunities that their new scalable platform will
provide for its family of brands and, ultimately, for its customers.
Some of the next steps include a unified shopping cart system,
a “My Garage” tool to save and apply parts to multiple vehicles
and more advanced digital marketing capabilities. Later this
year, the company will be extending these renovations with new
websites for UWS and RETRAC.
