Beloit Historical Society

The Beloit Historical Society operates two facilities:

Lincoln Center, 845 Hackett St. Beloit which houses our administrative offices, museum, library and archives; and the Hanchett-Bartlett Homestead, 2149 St Lawrence Ave, Beloit is a National Register of Historic Places listed furnished 1857 stone house and outbuildings. Access and guided tours are by appointment only.

Located in the historic de Witt Cottage, at the oceanfront, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum was founded by the Back Bay Wildfowl Guild. Exhibiting and housing artifacts from our region’s wildfowling history, as well as contemporary wildfowl art and carvings, the Museum promotes the wildfowling arts while educating friends and future members about the rich heritage of wildfowling in North America, with particular focus on the Atlantic Flyway and its migratory waterfowl.
