Shakir Rashaan excerpt from Unthinkable Walking with Devin and Mr. Richton’s bodyguards felt like something out of a video sequence. He tried to watch how close he came to touching me; his indecision amused me. Turning the tables and having him on the defensive was a refreshing change, but I wasn’t ready for this reversal of fortune to end. He touched my arm to slow me down as we got to my car. He grinned as his eyes roamed everywhere he could to avoid eye contact. “Well, I guess this would be that moment where I ask you for your phone number, huh?” “Well, that depends on the reason why you want my number, D.” He tilted his head, trying to figure out what I was driving at. “How else am I going to be able to call you? The last thing I want to tell my boss is that I didn’t have a way to contact you to get you to the estate.” I slipped in his space, capitalizing on his indecision, taking my role as the aggressor to the hilt. I placed my index finger against his chin, licking my lips as I felt him tremble. “Tell me the reason you want my number. Just say it.” He swallowed hard. I wouldn’t let his eyes stray from mine until I got my answer. Whether he liked it or not, he was no longer the one in control. “Alexia, you know why I want your number.” “Stop teasing, sexy. I will make you tell me, one way or another.” I wasn’t about to make it easy on him, regardless of the heat I felt rising off my skin. “I want you and the rest of the girls to come out tomorrow.” He tried to resist, but I would not be denied tonight. “Happy?”
