He had one foot out of the door.
“Please,” she whispered, sitting up on an elbow. “I need you to—”
“To what, Gina?” He didn’t turn to face her.
The pain in her breasts was damn near unbearable. Nothing provided the
relief that he gave her each and every time. She never admitted it to him or
to Michelle, but she enjoyed the pain to some degree because she knew the
pleasure that awaited when Sanjay went to work. And it was a labor of love. He
seemed to enjoy the act more than the substance itself.
Sanjay looked at her and said in a low tone, “Sometimes when I come to you,
I feel two things—need and shame. Tonight, you will need to release one or
the other. My wife already makes me feel …” He grimaced, unable to come up
with a word. “Because of this need. I do not want you to make me feel that way
too. Especially when I know you enjoy it as much as I do.”
She lowered her gaze, and when she finally could look up at him, he had
crossed the distance and was now at the edge of the bed.
“Sanjay. I never meant to—”
“I know, sweetheart.” He placed a finger to her lips. “You are thinking with
your head and not going by what you feel.”
“I need you. Please …” She reached for him, but he pulled back a little.
“If I touched you down there, would it be moist?”
Gina thought about lying to him, but only for a second. “Yes, I’m wet.”
“And if I want to make love to you, will you …”
Tears sprang to her eyes. If she allowed him that access she would be betraying
Michelle. But would she? This time money wouldn’t factor into it. He was
asking her to admit something she had never wanted to say out loud.
His lips pursed in a thin line before he moved from the bed and walked toward
the door.
Her voice was a shattered murmur, “Make love to me, Sanjay.”
Seconds later, Sanjay dropped his robe, rushed to the bed, and settled between
her thighs. He looked down at her breasts but didn’t touch them. She angled
toward him, ready to take him in, but still he waited. For the first time ever,
he pressed his lips to hers, then kissed her with an intensity she never thought
possible.
