Chuck Olson
Chuck graduated from Briar Cliff University with a Business Admin-
istration Degree. He was licensed as a Certified Financial Planner
(CFP) in 1993, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1996, Chartered
Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1999 and Life and Annuity Certified
Professional (LACP) in 2017.
He began his insurance practice with the Mutual of Omaha Com-
panies in 1988 as a career agent, where he remained until 2013.
As an agent, Chuck earned more than 20 years of honor clubs and
achieved Mutual’s highest honor (Chairman’s Council) numerous
times as well as MDRT qualification. Chuck is licensed in Health,
Life, and Property and Casualty. He also carried his Series 6 and
63 on investment business but recently gave that up in order to
concentrate on the growth of OCI.

Chuck was elected to the NAIFA Board of Trustees in 2014 and
serves as the liaison to the Independent Advisor Committee. He
served as President of the NAIFA Omaha association from 2001-
2002, and as NAIFA Nebraska president from 2006-2007. He was
awarded NAIFA Omaha “Agent of the Year” in 2008 and Omaha
Association of Health Underwriters “Underwriter of the Year” in
2011. He was inducted into the NAIFA Omaha Hall of Fame in
2018. Additionally, Chuck has served on the boards of SFSP (So-
ciety of Financial Service Professionals), OAHU (Omaha Associa-
tion of Health Underwriters) and NeAHU (Nebraska Association of
Health Underwriters). He also volunteers his time at his parish and
other charitable organizations.
Chuck has been married to his wife Deb for 40 years. Together,
they have two sons and a daughter. His sons, Nate and Charles, are
in business with him. Their Daughter Desiree is a bakery scientist.

Family: Wife of 40 years, Deb. (A licensed agent, Deb was instru-
mental in the growth of OCI. She recently retired.) Two sons, Nate
