By Amy Johns MAKE IT YOURSELF WEDDING TREATS Cream Cheese Mints My moth er made th es e min ts for th e h oliday s w hen I w as a little girl. I ngredients 1 - 8 ounce package of cream cheese softened 1 – 2 pound package of powdered sugar 10 to 12 drops of peppermint extract Food coloring of your choice – try to match wedding colors Small bowl of granulated sugar D irections Mix ingredients in a bowl (you can use a hand mixer if you like) Add food coloring (optional) Remove from bowl and knead until all ingredients are mixed Roll in small balls and then roll the balls in granulated sugar Press with a fork like with peanut butter cookies You can use a candy mold if you like Lay on wax paper overnight to dry and flip over to dry on other side Give them a good 24 hours on each side to dry NCOMMON   38 SPRING 2017
