them outside the gates of our house. I just can hope
that they did not end up in a dog meat restaurant.
Chu Chu, over the years to what we believe were dog
thieves. Heartbreaking. We searched and searched
for both dogs, putting up posters, asking neighbors,
with the hope that miraculously we will find the dog.
Everyday I regret that we were not cautious enough
about protecting them from the evil that awaited

When I look at the photo of Chu Chu shaking hands,
I feel we lost a great “diplomat.” I truly hope that
Vietnam will change its laws re dog restaurants, dog
thieves, etc.
