A Journey through Saba’s Village of Windwardside Windwardside is the island’s second largest town, second to The Bottom which is the capital. This review from a Trip Advisor traveller encapsulates it perfectly: “The main street of Windwardside is little enough to walk from end to end in 10 minutes. That is if you don’t stop in every cute store and restaurant ! So many unique shops to see from Sea Saba, Saba Lace, Kakona, 5 square. The supermarkets are even fun to pick up some goodies, especially on Wednesday when the shipments come in . . . delicious food in every restaurant, have a drink, talk and dance. The Buzy B has pastries you can’t pass up ! Homemade bread too. Post Office, ATM. Stroll down streets and see pretty cottages and flowers. Museums, churches, and view of Mt. Scenery. Always a breeze in Windwardside !” Delightful! Photo Credit: Cees Timmers Photography
