Esther loves cultivating happy clients and demand for her clothing is global . International clients would contact her via her Facebook page or on WhatsApp to create that one-of-a-kind garment , or to reproduce a special piece they saw on a client that they absolutely must have ! She is also kept busy with local clients who are fortunate to have her right there in the village of Anse LaRaye on St . Lucia ’ s west coast , working from her Atelier . As Esther ’ s collections fly off the shelves , her creative juices conjure up new ones , and fashionistas beat a path to her door in an attempt to be the first to wear that Kuumba Design piece .
When she isn ’ t creating masterfully-rendered clothing , Esther spends her time outdoors . She loves connecting with nature and would go to the forests , hike , visit waterfalls , beaches and enjoy esthetically pleasant sunsets . Being out there is conducive to meditation , and the sounds of water falling from the heights down to a pool or rocks below , or the ocean ’ s waves , dashing itself against the rocks as if to beat them into submission , is soothing to her senses , resulting in clarity of thought and vision . She is fortunate to live in St . Lucia , where the prolific beauty of nature is inescapable . Enveloped by its sights and sounds , her creativity is aided and masterpieces are conceived .
