Oranje Beach
This beach is located on the Caribbean side of the island, with dark, volcanic sand and calm waters
ideal for swimming. It’s never crowded here so you can almost have the beach to yourself, especially
during the week. At times, visitors from the nearby hotels may be the only ones around although in
the evening, locals may stop by for a swim before the sun disappears for the day. On weekends and
holidays, it would be a tad busier as Statians picnic here with friends and family.
