Major Osmar R. Simmons Museum
In honor of Major Simmons, his widow Carmen set up a small
house as a museum. On display are the antique furniture
collected in a period of 40 years, sculptures made by Therese
Hassell, household objects, prizes and other private-collected
portraits, paintings, delft blue, figurines, a fully set table etc.
In short, a house that is as completely furnished as if it were
their still lives. The museum is located diagonally behind the
hospital in The Bottom on the road to The Ladder and is open
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm.
