Major Osmar R. Simmons Museum In honor of Major Simmons, his widow Carmen set up a small house as a museum. On display are the antique furniture collected in a period of 40 years, sculptures made by Therese Hassell, household objects, prizes and other private-collected portraits, paintings, delft blue, figurines, a fully set table etc. In short, a house that is as completely furnished as if it were their still lives. The museum is located diagonally behind the hospital in The Bottom on the road to The Ladder and is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm.
