Indian River
Rowers wait at the mouth of Indian River to take visitors on a
one and a half hour boat ride down the island’s widest river.
The mangrove lining the river offer excellent opportunities to
see hummingbirds, egret, iguanas, crabs and many tropical
creatures in their natural habitat. Most boats will stop along
the way so visitors can buy refreshments including a local
favourite The Dynamite, made from rum.
