Located on the Hicacos Peninsula close to Havana, Varadero is well known for its beautiful sandy
beaches, warm waters and perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean. Although visitors travel there for
the beach, quite often they visit Parque Josone, a park filled with wildlife, botanical gardens and
even camel rides available for the kids. Add to that the nearby Bellamar Caves which have been
attracting visitors for 150 years, and you’ll have yet another reason to visit Varadero.
