Wedding - Tropical Theme
Mariam jokingly says , “ Weddings found us .”
She and Walmary initially planned and decorated a girlfriend ’ s wedding while at University . It was a lot of fun but the thought of being wedding planners never crossed their minds at that time .
After Mariam completed her degree in Social Communication , she worked in the tourism sector , first in advertising , then later in Sales at a five-star hotel in Havana city . Four years into her job in the tourism and hospitality industry , Mariam organized her first wedding at the hotel . This was an eye-opening moment for her and her formal introduction into the amazing wedding planning world .
Around that time , the owner of a wedding decor business sensed Mariam ’ s passion for that industry and invited her to join her team . In the first year , they designed less than ten weddings , but business grew rapidly and now they are the most well-known and up-scale wedding decor business in Cuba . It was during her tenure at this business that Mariam discovered the key to a successful dream wedding was not only wedding design and decor but also wedding planning ! After four years of designing weddings , she decided to create her own wedding planning business .
That was the beginning of Coordinate Cuba . Now 3 years later , she has no regrets , and is proud of having created something from the very start and having the opportunity to share happiness and love with the hundreds of couples who have hired the services of her company .
Together , Mariam and her co-founder , Walmary coordinate all wedding logistics , allowing couples and their guests to enjoy this special day , worry-free .
