Bonaire Sailing Regatta
During the 51st edition of the Bonaire Regatta,
the bay will be filled with sails from various sailing
divisions, all competing for their class championship.
OCTOBER 23
Connecting People With Nature
This is a free, fun educational experience hosted
by Stichting Nationale Parken Bonaire’s (STINAPA
Bonaire) biologist Caren Eckrich. With over 20 years
of experience in the Caribbean, Caren will present
interesting and challenging topics on Bonaire’s
nature. Host speakers from around the globe are also
given the opportunity to share their presentations.
Time 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
NOVEMBER 3
Bat Night
Hosted by STINAPA, you’ll learn about Bonaire’s
winged mammals at their headquarters, then you’ll
take a short walk to a nearby cave where you will
be up close and personal with bats entering and
exiting the cave. You will also be able to listen to their
echolocation with the use of an ultrasound detector.
Bring a flashlight (red filters provided), covered shoes
and drinking water. Space is limited, so please call

DECEMBER 22
Bonaire Christmas Shopping Night
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience
amazing shopping with discounts in most of the
stores in Kaya Grandi and Kaya Grandi adjacent.
They will also have the opportunity to see the elderly
Christmas themed parade. Local Christmas dishes
will be also available downtown.
