Emperor Zoo, Trinidad
With the variety of exotic animals in residence, a
visit to the Emperor Zoo in Trinidad can be fun and
informative. One of the zoo’s fascinating animals is
the Mandrill, the world’s largest monkey which is a
native of Africa’s rainforests. Another is the Helmeted
Guineafowl, also a native of Africa which has an
interesting look, with its round body and small tail.
You will also be intrigued with the Giant Otter, a
native of South America, considered to be a very noisy
inhabitant.
These and many other animals such as Agoutis,
Tropical Birds, Crocodiles, Porcupines, the the world’s
largest rodent the Capybara and different types of
snakes including a Boa Constrictor, can all be seen at
the zoo.
