PLACES OF INTEREST in Trinidad and Tobago
EL TUCUCHE Although it is a hard 4 hour hike to the top of El Tucuche, Trinidad’s second-highest peak, those who endure the hike are rewarded at the top by a superb 360-degree view of the island before them. On the way up, hikers may catch a glimpse of the elusive golden tree frog and other rare species. El Tucuche is located on Trinidad’s north coast where the summit lies at 3,073 feet above sea level making the hike not only long but also very strenuous. Photo Credit: TripAdvisor
