TO PREPARE Green figs (green bananas) Salt fish (salted cod fish) Onion, Garlic, Oil Seasoning peppers Fresh herbs (chives, shadow beni, celery) Peel and boil green figs until tender. Drain out the excess water and set aside to cool. Rinse and boil salt fish to remove excess salt. After boiling, shred and remove all bones. Chop onion, garlic seasoning pepper and herbs. Add oil to a hot pan and pour in all the aromatics and allow to saute until tender. Add salt fish to the sauted aromatics, mix well and let cook for five minutes. After cooking, you can serve the combination of salt fish and herbs on top of your green fig. Locals like to add a slice of avocado on the side. Credit: Refer Leonce
