Seth Saheli
Seth Saheli is a self-taught chef, whose
cooking was heavily influenced
by his mother, Mrs. Wendy Saheli,
affectionately known to all in the
community as “Aunty Wendy”. She is a retired
caterer and restaurant owner on the island of
St. Kitts, who has passed on her charisma and
love of food to her son, Seth.
Chef Seth cooks with passion! He infuses his
food with the most natural of healthy herbs
and spices found on the islands and around
the globe, creating authentic, superb cuisines.
The base of his dishes are always natural herbs
and seasonings such as onions, garlic, peppers
and thyme, to name a few, which emphasizes
the true natural flavors of his food.
“The opportunity to be able to create and
prepare food, dishes, meals for people is a gift
and a blessing that one must be thankful and

proud to have. I personally take my skills and the
opportunity to make people happy and satisfied
very seriously as all chefs should”, he said.
One tip Chef Seth shares is that of preparation
which he stressed is very important, whether
cooking is being done for work or for
one’s personal enjoyment. All ingredients
and cooking directions must be prepared
beforehand. “The end result will be a spectacular
one for both you and your guests!”
His love for cooking is so strong that he finds
joy in cooking everything, although with fish
being personally, his favourite dish, maybe
he enjoys cooking fish just a little more than
anything else.
And, there’s Curried Chicken! “I love Curry, and
curried chicken is very popular, not just in St.Kitts
but throughout the Caribbean islands. “ he
effused.
