Antigua and Barbuda PLACES OF INTEREST

Half Moon Bay
This bay offer visitors a break from the other sometimes overcrowded beaches of Antigua
as it is isolated more than most. The middle of the bay is ideal for surfers and yet is calmer at
the edges, making it suitable for swimming. This can be an ideal place for families to visit.
Depending on the time of day and season, there are usually vendors selling food and
drinks, but it is advisable to take your own.

Stingray City
Stingray City is the name that has been given
to a shallow pool amid a tropical reef located
a 5 minute speed boat ride from Antigua’s
east coast. The pool has a sandy bottom and
southern stingrays accumulate there to be
fed by visitors. These friendly stingrays allow
you to swim or snorkel with them and when
you stand among them, you will experience
their smooth, silky bodies brushing
against you, which makes for a unique and
unforgettable adventure.
