Gastronomy in Haiti

Haiti’s cuisine is a fusion of rich flavors. Most of
their dishes are spicy and is often accompanied
by hot sauces on the side for those who love
the kick of extra heat in their meal. Some of
their noteable dishes are: Rice and beans, fried
bananas, tchaka (a dish of beans, corn and other
ingredients), Griot, seasoned pork and fries,
Giraumon soup, Beef or chicken broth, to name a
few.
Haitian cooking also includes fish, shrimp, lambi
and lobster, cooked in creole sauce or grilled.
While savouring the gastronomic choices, take
the time to try a cup of aromatic Haitian coffee.
