Terre-de-Haut Island, Guadelopue

More European in character than
its neighbor Terre-de-Bas, Terre-de-
Haut Island, the more easterly of
the Les Saintes, features European
type houses with whitewashed walls
and red tile roofs, along with flower
gardens. Here the 17th-century
Fort Napoléon now plays host to a
museum and an exotic garden and is
one of the island’s main attractions.
Another attraction is the assent to
the island’s highest point, Morne du
Chameau.
