Annandale Waterfalls
Not too far from St. George’s, in the mountains
to the north, Annandale Falls plunges 10 meters
into a pool surrounded by tropical foliage. A
short trail from the Annandale Falls Centre will
lead visitors to the falls where they can either
swim in the pool as the waters cascade around
them, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful
sounds while observing the locals as they dive
into the pool from the top of the falls.
Dougaldston Spice Estate
At the Dougaldston Spice Estate you will
see how the island’s spices, such as nutmeg,
cinnamon, and cloves are grown and
processed. One of the oldest and largest
nutmeg plantations on the island, the estate
has a nutmeg processing plant nearby where
you can learn many interesting facts about
the island’s famous spices. During your visit,
you will learn what life is like for those who
depend on the spices for their livelihood.
