OCTOBER 5 - 9 Punta Cana Salsa & BachaTu Festival 2017 The festival will be held at the beautiful Meliá Caribe Tropical in Bávaro , Punta Cana . This is a celebration of Latin culture through live music and dance attended by locals and a diverse international audience .
NOVEMBER 1 XXI Dominican Republic Jazz Festival
To be held in Santiago with the presentations of El Eco ( Argentina ), and Edmar Colon and Jonathan Suazo ( Dominican Republic ), this edition aims to recognize music , culture and art as well as honor the contemporary global dimension of jazz ; each night will be dedicated to different countries .
DECEMBER Santo Domingo de Fiesta
Every week until December 30 , enjoy a free outdoor show with Dominican folk dancers that begins at 8 p . m . every Friday and Saturday at the Plaza España in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo .
