Playa PortoMari, Curacao

This is a beach for the adventurous. With a
double reef to explore and snorkel rental
available, underwater enthusiasts will be
kept fully entertained. The explorers who
prefer dry land can try one of the many
hiking or bicycle trails that start from
this beach. While many people highly
recommend the sumptious food at the
beach bar and restaurant, others are more
enthralled by the magnificent sunsets they
enjoy during a relaxing evening on this
beach.

Now designated a UNESCO World Heritage
site jutting out into the St. Anna Bay, Rif Fort
was originally built to protect the island from
pirates. Today the fort houses a shopping mall
with upscale stores such as Tiffany & Co., and
Armani Exchange. The adjacent area houses the
Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino.
