Fond Memories of Trips to Anguilla

Rendezvous Bay Beach
This is a four kilometer crescent of dazzling
white sand perfect for walking and collecting
an impressive variety of sea shells. The
waters that lap along the sand are calm and
shallow making it an ideal beach for family
swimming. This is where you would have
found The Dune Preserve before Hurricane
Irma. It was perhaps one of the funkiest, most
interesting, coolest beach bars in the world.

Fountain Cavern National Park
The history of Anguilla dates back to 1500
BC during the existence of the Arawak Tribe.
Evidence of their lifestyle can be seen by way
of petroglyphs found in the Fountain Cavern.
Located about 20 meters below ground,
the petroglyphs, thought to date from 400
AD are in great shape considering their
age, but the most impressive sight is a head
carved into a stalagmite, 5 meters in size. It
is thought that this represents the head of a
god which makes this the oldest site in the
Caribbean where a cave, used for religious
ceremonies, is still in evidence.
