Bonaire National Marine Park
Encircling the entire island, the Bonaire National Marine Park is one of the Caribbean’s top dive spots. Reefs, mangroves, beaches, sea grass beds and lagoons are all included in the park so there is a great deal of diversity for visitors to enjoy and explore. The park also includes Klein Bonaire, an island off Bonaire’s western coast. Photo Credit: Hans-Jürgen Rincon Rincon is Bonaire’s oldest settlement and is today still the island’s cultural capital. A visit to the town gives people a break from what can be the more hectic lifestyle on the island. As well as cyclists and cars on the streets of this peaceful community, you will often see goats and donkeys. Once a week visitors can join a guided tour to see the town and island’s history or they can, at any time, buy a guide book and make their own historical tour. Photo Credit:www.rincon.nl BONAIRE
