Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse
At the top of the 185 steps
that take you to the top of
the 35 meter high Gibb’s
Hill Lighthouse, (one of the
oldest cast iron lighthouses
in the world), you will
get spectacular views of
Bermuda’s Atlantic coastline.
Rest stops on the way up
display information on the
lighthouse’s history which
includes the fact that parts of
the lighthouse was made in
England and transported to
Bermuda. The lighthouse was
lit for the first time on 1st May
1846.
