The Caroni Swamp | Mélange Travel & Lifestyle Magazine
This is a 12,000 acre swamp located on Trinidad’s west coast. It is the largest mangrove forest on the island and home of one of the island’s national birds, the Scarlet Ibis. A portion of the area is a designated wildlife sanctuary which makes it a popular site for eco-tourists.
