Turks and Caicos National Museum, Grand Turk
The Turks and Caicos National Museum is housed in one of the islands’ oldest stone buildings and
provides visitors a thorough history of the islands. That history includes slavery, the salt trade and the
natural environment. The museum also houses remnants of the Western Hemisphere’s oldest ship
wreck and an interesting collection of messages in bottles, sent from all around the world which were
washed ashore on these islands.
