Yarra Beach
places of interest
Due to its entrance being difficult to spot along the road to Blanchissuesse, many visitors miss the
dramatic Yarra Beach with its tree lined expanse of white sandy shoreline. The visual beauty of this
beach is stunning with its huge rocks in the middle of the bay and red clay cliffs dominating the
western end.
POTTERY IN CENTRAL TRINIDAD
In the village of Edinburgh and all along the road between Chase Village and Chaguanas, Trinidad’s
pottery industry still thrives after a long history dating back to immigrants from Venezuela who
moved to Trinidad in 600 BC. As well as the usual pottery items made for everyday use, vendors
along this stretch of road also sell religious pottery items and souvenirs.
