Liamuiga, a dormant volcano which towers at 3,972 ft is a highly recommend activity for visitors who love the thrill of a climb. With or without a local guide, you will find this a challenging hike so be prepared and be aware that it will be slippery at times - wearing proper hiking shoes and carrying water with you, is advised. The trail itself is easy to follow and you’ll have magnificent views as your reward when you get to the top of the crater. If you’re feeling more adventurous, descend into the crater and explore. There is a lake at the bootton and you may even spot a monkey or two among the trees.
