Hato Caves

These caves were formed under the sea and only recently became accessible by land after the sea level dropped . Beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations , pools in the caves and a waterfall are now visible . Tours are available twice daily but because of the resident fruit bat colony , photography is prohibited in certain chambers of the caves .
