St. John’s, Antigua
The towers of St. John’s Cathedral loom over St. John’s, the capital city of Antigua and Barbuda. It is
one of the city’s most distinctive buildings amid a kaleidoscope of candy-hued colonial cottages.
The market place in St. John’s, with stalls piled high with fruit and flowers plus the duty free shops,
attract locals and visitors, all looking for a deal of some sort. . For the non-shoppers, the Museum
of Antigua and Barbuda, located in the former 18th century court house offers an overview of the
islands’ history.
